The Cecil County Arts Council acts as a clearinghouse for information on the arts in Cecil County. Now in its 30th year, the Arts Council is a non-profit organization, dedicated to "presenting, promoting and sustaining the arts in Cecil County," offering exhibitions, art education workshops, musical performances, literary arts programs, and special events to the community. CCAC also awards scholarships to students pursuing degrees in the arts and sub-grants to local non-profit organizations and schools wishing to present art programs in Cecil County. Last year alone, the Arts Council offered over $45,000 in grant and scholarship opportunities to county organizations, schools and individual artists.
