6x6 Canvas Show
The arts council is looking for a few brave souls – actually, we need about 60 of them.
We are giving out 6-by-6-inch canvases through the month of July. All we need is for you to be as clever and creative as you can, and put something amazing on the canvas. Not an artist? You don’t have to be!
We will collect the canvases at the end of August and will feature them in an upcoming community canvas show in October. Make sure to sign the back of the canvas to keep the surprise alive – people will pay $20 to select a finished piece and they won’t know who created the masterpiece until they turn it over.
Drop-off your finished 6x6 art work to the gallery August 29 - September 2.

CALL FOR ENTRIES
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport) is currently constructing the D/E Connector and Security Checkpoint. This project creates a secure side connection between Concourse D and Concourse E, allows international arrivals at gates D1-D3, and creates a new Security Screening Checkpoint for all Concourses D and E passengers. With the large passenger traffic that will utilize the new facility, BWI Marshall Airport recognizes the opportunity to showcase the region’s talented art community with a gallery space along the connector. BWI Marshall Airport invites all artists (ages 18 and older) residing in the State of Maryland or the District of Columbia to submit up to three digital images of artwork that can be reproduced and printed on large-scale fabric panels to be displayed within the D/E Connector for one of four six-month exhibits. The jurors will consider any two-dimensional work of art, in reproducible format, following the guidelines. Application is included below. Entries may be submitted to: www.bwiairport.com/en/arts/
