30th Birthday of CCAC
CCAC artists joined with the "Hooked on Fishing, not on Drugs" program developed by the Juvenile Agency Volunteer Auxiliary program and worked with young artists to produce the fishy work seen in the August show "Fish Tales" in Elkton.

The poetry group Lunchlines, now in its 11th year, has branched out of the Elkton Arts Center and is holding readings around the county. In February, local poets participated in "Image and Response II: Words About Art", a show of words and art from the Paul R Jones Collection . Community poets joined with Lunchlines in September at the North East Library, and more are invited to attend the spook, scary, thrill-and-chill session entitled "Poe and Poetry" scheduled for October 27 at the Rising Sun Library, and one TBA for Chesapeake City in December.

So come on over, check in at 135 East Main Street and see what's cooking at the Cecil County Arts Council!.I, Muddy Maggie Creshkoff say this as local potter, a long time Cecil County Arts Council member, and the past president of the CCAC Board of Directors—show off your smarts, get involved with the Arts!
