Members' Exhibition & Annual Meeting Approaches |

On June 12 from 5-7pm CCAC will open its doors at 135 East Main Street in Elkton and welcome the Cecil County Arts Council’s Member Exhibition. The exhibition, limited to CCAC Members, will feature interpretations of this year's theme, "Secret Gardens." The exhibition promises to be one of the largest of the year. Last year, over fifty artists exhibited and we expect even more this year.The show continues through July 17.
The opening event on Friday, June 12th, will feature he live music of local band "Clashing With Blue" and refreshments. The evening will also host the CCAC Annual Members meeting including nominations for new Board Members and the 2009 Scholarship Award announcements. The event is free and open to the public. |

The Cecil County Arts Council (CCAC) announces its 2009 Artists’ Open Studio Tour to be held on May 9th and sponsored by Cecil County Tourism and APGFCU. This self-guided, countywide driving tour offers the public a free opportunity to visit artists throughout Cecil County at work in their own studios.

Dove Valley Winery and CCAC are partnering to bring a new event "Art on the Vineyard" to Cecil County. We are looking for artists vendors and musicians for a weekend long celebration of wine and the arts this August 1 & 2. For a small table fee and a item donation (to benefit CCAC) artisans may sell their works commission free the entire weekend. Events will include music, wine tastings, a raffle of fine arts, and more. Spaces are limited and going fast, call 410-392-5740 if you would like to participate. |
