The Cecil County Arts Council (CCAC) announces its 2008 Artists’ Open Studio Tour to be held on May 10th and sponsored by Bay First Bank.  This self-guided, countywide driving tour offers the public a free opportunity to visit artists throughout Cecil County at work in their own studios. 

With stops at 19 studios and displays by nearly thirty artists, this is the Arts Council’s way of offering the community an otherwise unavailable chance at seeing an artist at work in their own inspirational work space.  The Open Studio Tour affords the artist the ability to showcase their craft and skill, and instills in its patrons a better understanding and appreciation for the work and labor a work of art requires.
